About the studio

Jody Kozlow Gardner

Jody is a New York City-based ceramicist whose style embraces the natural movement of clay, allowing it to showcase itself organically in its texture, shape, and form.

After several years in fashion design, Jody found a natural transition to clay. Her medium changed, but her eye for proportion, silhouette, and design remained the same.

The studio name Wolf Rose honors Jody's great-grandparents, who immigrated from Ukraine and built a new life in Detroit. Their names reflect the dualities that define her work: strength and delicacy, rustic and refined, history and modernity.
